Liberian Historical Review

We are pleased to present to the public the first issue of our Society's Journal - The Liberian Historical Review. With this publication, the Liberian Historical Society, an organization which was formally founded on May 17, 1964, launches out on one of its ambitious projects - to publish annually a Review containing articles and features contributed by members and guest writers.

It has been said that those who forget history are condemned to repeat it. It was with this awareness that we organized ourselves six months ago in order to explore the past and encourage and promote the study of history and its related disciplines in connection with our nation and its people.
